About the role

CoreData Systems is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement robust data pipelines for a high‑impact analytics project. You will work closely with data scientists and product teams to ensure reliable data flow from source systems to the data lake.

Key responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain ETL processes using Python and SQL.
• Design scalable data models in PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Integrate data sources from AWS services such as S3 and Redshift.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring.
• Optimize query performance and storage costs.
• Document pipeline architecture and data lineage.

Must-have skills

• Advanced Python programming for data engineering.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Proficiency in AWS data services (S3, Redshift, Lambda).
• Solid understanding of ETL design patterns.
• Experience with data modeling and schema design.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) for deployment.
