About the role

Keystone Digital is launching a fast‑track CI/CD and platform automation sprint to accelerate release cycles. We need a Database Administrator who can design, implement, and tune automated database workflows that integrate seamlessly with our pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated schema migration scripts for PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL.
• Integrate database health checks and backup routines into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to embed DB provisioning into IaC templates.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and optimize queries during sprint releases.
• Document best practices for database versioning and rollback strategies.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL in production.
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
• Strong scripting abilities (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) for automation.
• Understanding of containerized database deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for DB provisioning.
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks like Prometheus/Grafana.
• Knowledge of data security and compliance automation.
