About the role

TechFlow Inc is gearing up for a major app store launch that tightly couples its mobile front‑end with a robust backend. As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will bridge the gap between mobile release pipelines and backend services, ensuring seamless, automated deployments and performance monitoring for the new "PulseSync" module.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a CI/CD workflow in GitHub Actions that builds, tests, and publishes the PulseSync Docker images for both Android and iOS backend services.
• Configure Terraform scripts to provision AWS ECS clusters, RDS instances, and S3 buckets required for the app store release, adhering to IaC best practices.
• Set up Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts for zero‑downtime rolling updates of the API gateway supporting mobile clients.
• Integrate Datadog APM and CloudWatch alarms to monitor latency spikes during peak app store traffic.
• Automate secret management with AWS Secrets Manager and implement role‑based access controls for the deployment pipeline.
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to embed feature flags via LaunchDarkly, enabling staged rollouts.

Must-have skills

• Advanced experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Proficient in AWS services (ECS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch).
• Strong Terraform/IaC background for automated infrastructure provisioning.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools, especially GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Solid scripting skills in Bash/Python for pipeline automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile‑focused backend services and API gateways.
• Familiarity with Datadog or New Relic monitoring platforms.
