Senior DevOps Engineer Needed for GitOps Rollout Delivery

About the role

CoreData Systems is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a DevOps Engineer who can quickly assess, design, and implement robust security controls across our CI/CD pipelines and runtime environments.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing infrastructure and identify security gaps in AWS environments.
• Implement automated hardening scripts using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Integrate vulnerability scanning and secret management into CI/CD workflows.
• Containerize legacy services and enforce least‑privilege policies in Kubernetes clusters.
• Collaborate with developers to embed security best practices early in the development cycle.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS security services (IAM, GuardDuty, Config).
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for secure deployments.
• Hands‑on CI/CD pipeline creation and automation.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks.
• Excellent troubleshooting and scripting abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snyk or Trivy vulnerability scanners.
• Familiarity with Terraform or Pulumi for IaC security.
• Background in compliance audits (PCI, HIPAA).
