Senior DevOps Engineer Needed for Mission-Critical Container Platform Build

About the role

Harbor Softworks is launching a security hardening initiative for its suite of cloud‑hosted applications. We need a DevOps Engineer to embed security controls into the CI/CD pipeline, reinforce infrastructure configurations, and ensure compliance across AWS environments.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing Terraform and CloudFormation templates for security gaps.
• Integrate automated vulnerability scanning and secret detection into CI pipelines.
• Implement container hardening standards for Docker and Kubernetes workloads.
• Collaborate with developers to embed secure coding practices and runbooks.
• Provide detailed remediation reports and knowledge transfer sessions.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS security services (IAM, GuardDuty, Config).
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes hardening.
• Hands‑on CI/CD pipeline automation (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
• Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with security frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks.
• Familiarity with automated compliance tools (Checkov, tfsec).
• Knowledge of secret management solutions (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
