Senior DevOps Engineer – Release Engineering Engagement

About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need a DevOps Engineer who can design, implement, and fine‑tune the underlying infrastructure to meet strict uptime and latency targets.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing pipelines and identify bottlenecks affecting response time.
• Re‑architect CI/CD workflows for zero‑downtime deployments.
• Implement autoscaling policies and resilient networking across AWS regions.
• Set up comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation.
• Collaborate with developers to embed reliability patterns into code.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Deep experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
• Proven track record building CI/CD pipelines at scale.
• Strong scripting ability (Bash, Python, or Go).

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of chaos engineering tools.
• Familiarity with observability stacks like Prometheus/Grafana.
