About the role

Summit Digital is preparing a major app store launch that tightly aligns mobile front‑ends with backend services. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, implement, and fine‑tune the container orchestration that will power the release.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a scalable Kubernetes cluster for micro‑service deployment
• Containerize existing services with Docker, ensuring minimal image size
• Set up CI/CD pipelines that automatically build and push images
• Implement health checks, auto‑scaling, and rolling updates to support rapid release cycles
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to expose secure APIs and monitor latency

Must-have skills

• Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production
• Strong grasp of DevOps principles and tooling (Helm, Argo CD, CI/CD)
• Ability to troubleshoot networking, storage, and security issues in clusters

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
• Knowledge of mobile backend patterns and API gateways
