About the role
NovaForge Tech is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a full stack web developer who can strengthen both front‑end and back‑end layers while maintaining performance and scalability.
Key responsibilities
- Audit existing React code for security vulnerabilities and implement mitigations.
- Refactor NodeJS services to enforce least‑privilege access and secure data handling.
- Integrate security testing tools into CI pipelines and address findings.
- Collaborate with DevOps to configure secure MongoDB deployments and access controls.
- Document security patterns and provide knowledge transfer to the internal team.
Must-have skills
- Strong experience with React and NodeJS in production environments.
- Deep understanding of OWASP top‑10 and secure coding practices.
- Hands‑on experience securing MongoDB and cloud services.
- Proficiency in JavaScript ES6+ and RESTful API design.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Docker and container security.
- Experience with automated security scanning tools (e.g., Snyk, Trivy).
