Senior GraphQL API Developer Needed for Partner API Handshake

About the role

BrightMart Solutions is launching a greenfield SaaS product and needs a GraphQL API Developer to design the core data layer. You will work with a remote‑first team, shaping the API architecture from scratch and ensuring seamless integration with the frontend.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a scalable GraphQL schema for new services
• Develop resolver logic using NodeJS and integrate with existing REST endpoints
• Collaborate with React engineers to define data contracts and optimize queries
• Set up automated testing and monitoring for API reliability
• Document API specifications and onboarding guides for internal stakeholders

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building production GraphQL APIs
• Strong NodeJS background and REST API integration
• Familiarity with React data consumption patterns
• Understanding of authentication, caching, and performance tuning

Nice to have

• Experience with Apollo Server or Prisma
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for API deployment
