About the role
AlphaEdge Tech is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. We need an iOS App Developer to redesign the client app, integrate new services, and ensure zero‑downtime deployments.
Key responsibilities
- Refactor legacy Swift codebase to adopt Swift 5.8 best practices
- Implement feature flags and hot‑swap modules for uninterrupted releases
- Design and consume REST APIs that align with the new backend architecture
- Set up automated CI pipelines with fast lane for App Store delivery
- Collaborate with QA to create regression test suites for stability
Must-have skills
- 5+ years of iOS development experience
- Deep knowledge of Swift, UIKit/SwiftUI, and memory management
- Proven track record delivering zero‑downtime updates
- Strong understanding of REST API integration and authentication
Nice to have
- Experience with Combine or RxSwift
- Familiarity with server‑side Swift (Vapor) for tighter integration
- Background in performance profiling and instrumentation
