About the role

NexGen Media is launching a next‑generation streaming platform and needs a senior iOS App Developer to lead the core client implementation. You will translate UI/UX designs into high‑performance Swift code and ensure seamless integration with backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop the main iOS application from scratch.
• Implement robust networking layer using REST APIs.
• Optimize performance and memory usage for smooth playback.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to refine features.
• Write unit and UI tests to maintain code quality.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Expertise in Swift and UIKit/SwiftUI.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API integration.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with performance profiling tools.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with video streaming SDKs.
• Exposure to Combine or RxSwift.
