About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a data-intensive application and needs a MongoDB Specialist to shape its database architecture. You will work closely with engineers to design schemas, ensure performance, and support data migration.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable MongoDB data models
• Optimize queries, indexes, and aggregation pipelines for speed
• Develop backup, restore, and monitoring strategies
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate MongoDB with APIs
• Document best practices and provide knowledge transfer

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with MongoDB design and performance tuning
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js for data handling
• Understanding of data security and replication concepts
• Ability to write clear technical documentation

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes deployments
• Familiarity with cloud database services (Atlas, AWS DocumentDB)
• Knowledge of data warehousing or analytics pipelines
