About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is modernizing a legacy production platform with a zero‑downtime mandate. We need a MongoDB Specialist to redesign data pipelines, optimize queries, and ensure seamless migration while keeping the service fully available.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing MongoDB schemas and indexes for performance gaps
• Design and implement a zero‑downtime migration strategy
• Refactor data access layers using modern Node.js patterns
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate backups and rollbacks
• Monitor and fine‑tune cluster health during cut‑over

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise with MongoDB clustering, sharding, and aggregation
• Strong Node.js development experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS for supporting UI tools
• Experience implementing zero‑downtime deployments

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes orchestration
• Background in CI/CD pipeline automation
