About the role
NexGen Media is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a seasoned .NET Core developer to fortify APIs, implement secure authentication flows, and audit existing services for vulnerabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Review and refactor .NET Core codebases to meet OWASP standards
- Integrate Azure security services such as Key Vault and Managed Identities
- Develop automated tests for security regressions
- Collaborate with DevSecOps to embed security checks into CI pipelines
- Document hardened architecture and provide knowledge transfer
Must-have skills
- 5+ years of .NET Core development
- Strong C# expertise and async programming
- Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud security features
- Familiarity with threat modeling and secure coding practices
Nice to have
- Certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Experience with container security in Docker/Kubernetes
