About the role

CoreData Systems is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a seasoned PHP developer to redesign critical backend components, reduce latency, and improve fault tolerance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze existing codebase and identify bottlenecks
• Refactor services using Laravel best practices for scalability
• Implement robust caching, queueing, and error‑handling mechanisms
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps to ensure smooth deployment

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of PHP development experience
• Deep knowledge of Laravel framework
• Strong MySQL optimization and schema design skills
• Proficiency with Git, CI pipelines, and Docker

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services (RDS, SQS, Lambda)
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (New Relic, Datadog)
• Background in microservice architecture
