About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a greenfield SaaS product and needs a React Native Developer to shape the mobile experience from day one. You will work with a remote‑first team, turning product concepts into a polished, cross‑platform app that scales with our user base.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core features using React Native and native modules
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure pixel‑perfect interfaces
• Integrate RESTful APIs and real‑time services securely
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality
• Optimize performance for both Android and iOS devices
• Participate in agile ceremonies and code reviews

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in React Native and JavaScript
• Hands‑on experience building, testing, and deploying Android and iOS apps
• Understanding of mobile architecture, native linking, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of GraphQL or WebSockets
• Background in SaaS product launches
