About the role

Harbor Softworks is undertaking a critical performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need a React Native Developer to lead the effort, ensuring the mobile experience is fast, stable, and scalable.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing React Native codebase for bottlenecks and memory leaks
• Refactor UI components to improve rendering speed and reduce bundle size
• Implement robust error handling and offline support across Android and iOS
• Integrate performance monitoring tools and set up automated regression tests
• Collaborate with QA and backend teams to validate end‑to‑end reliability

Must-have skills

• 5+ years building production‑grade React Native apps
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript ES6+ and native modules for Android/iOS
• Proven track record optimizing app startup time and memory usage
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and performance profiling tools

Nice to have

• Familiarity with TypeScript in React Native projects
• Background in networking or low‑level mobile optimization
• Contributions to open‑source React Native libraries
