About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a project‑based effort to overhaul the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a React Native Developer to redesign key mobile components, reduce load times, and improve crash resilience across Android and iOS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor existing React Native codebase for speed and stability
• Implement efficient state management and lazy loading strategies
• Integrate native modules to boost performance on Android and iOS
• Write automated tests and set up CI pipelines for mobile builds
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to validate reliability metrics

Must-have skills

• Strong expertise in React Native and JavaScript
• Proven experience delivering high‑performance Android and iOS apps
• Deep understanding of mobile app profiling and optimization
• Ability to debug native crashes and memory leaks

Nice to have

• Familiarity with TypeScript in React Native projects
• Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Flipper or Firebase Performance
