About the role

Silverline Labs is building a robust data pipeline and analytics layer for its operations teams. We need an Android Developer to create native components that ingest, transform, and visualize operational data directly on mobile devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Android modules that pull real‑time metrics from backend services
• Build reusable UI widgets for dashboards and alerts
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and streaming endpoints using Kotlin coroutines
• Optimize performance and battery usage for continuous data streams
• Collaborate with data engineers to align mobile data models with pipeline schemas

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android
• Experience with Android Jetpack, MVVM, and LiveData
• Solid understanding of REST/JSON and real‑time data handling
• Ability to write clean, testable code and unit tests

Nice to have

• Familiarity with analytics tools like Firebase Analytics or Amplitude
• Experience with data visualization libraries on Android
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
