About the role
Pinecrest Systems is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need an iOS App Developer to lead the effort, refactor critical modules, and ensure smooth operation under heavy load. You will work closely with backend engineers to optimize data flow and latency.
Key responsibilities
- Audit and refactor existing iOS codebase for speed and stability
- Implement efficient networking layers using REST APIs
- Introduce profiling and automated performance testing
- Collaborate with QA to define reliability benchmarks
- Document improvements and mentor junior team members
Must-have skills
- 5+ years of iOS development experience
- Deep expertise in Swift and memory management
- Strong understanding of RESTful API integration
- Proven track record of performance tuning on iOS apps
Nice to have
- Experience with Combine or RxSwift
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile
- Background in analytics and crash reporting tools
