Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data and provide insightful recommendations to senior management to inform business decisions and drive growth.
• Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to predict future trends and opportunities.
• Coordinate and manage the annual budgeting process, including preparing and reviewing budget reports and variance analyses.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
• Provide financial guidance and support to other departments, including sales, marketing, and operations.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations on investments, funding, and other financial matters.
• Develop and maintain financial reports, including dashboards and scorecards, to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure business performance.
• Maintain and manage the company's financial systems, including accounting software and other financial tools.
• Coordinate and manage the preparation and filing of tax returns, including ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement internal controls and processes to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
• Provide training and support to junior team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in accounting and financial management, and apply this knowledge to improve financial processes and systems.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Professional certification, such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA), is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insightful recommendations.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision in all aspects of financial management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting, including the development of financial models and forecasts.
• Knowledge of financial laws and regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve exceptional results.
