About the role

Cascade Apps is preparing a major app store launch and needs a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to synchronize mobile and backend delivery pipelines. You will design, implement, and fine‑tune automation that ensures code, containers, and infrastructure move seamlessly from commit to production across iOS/Android and server APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Build end‑to‑end CI/CD workflows for mobile builds and backend services using GitHub Actions or similar.
• Containerize backend components with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes.
• Integrate automated testing, security scans, and versioning into the pipeline.
• Collaborate with mobile and backend teams to align release schedules and artifact promotion.
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve performance.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience designing CI/CD pipelines for mobile and server environments.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
• Hands‑on with scripting (Bash, Python) and pipeline as code.
• Understanding of mobile build tools (Fastlane, Gradle, Xcode).

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Datadog.
• Background in DevSecOps practices.
