Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Photoshop and other editing software to enhance, manipulate, and retouch images according to client specifications and company standards.
• Collaborate with photographers, art directors, and designers to conceptualize and deliver visually stunning images that meet project goals.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and ensuring all deliverables are of the highest quality.
• Develop and maintain a keen understanding of current design trends, best practices in photo editing, and brand aesthetics to inform editing decisions.
• Conduct quality control checks on all edited images to ensure they meet the company's quality standards before submitting them to clients.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas and solutions for photo editing projects.
• Maintain organized files and databases of edited images, ensuring easy access and retrieval for future projects or references.
• Liaise with clients to understand their vision and preferences, providing guidance on how to achieve the desired look through photo editing techniques.
• Stay updated with new features and tools in photo editing software, applying this knowledge to improve editing efficiency and quality.
• Assist in training junior team members or interns in photo editing techniques and best practices.
• Contribute to the development of the company's style and aesthetic by suggesting new ideas and approaches to photo editing.
• Participate in project planning, offering insights on how photo editing can enhance the overall impact of a project.
• Ensure all edited images are optimized for various formats and mediums, including web, print, and social media.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless integration of edited images into final products, such as brochures, advertisements, and digital campaigns.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, with a strong foundation in graphic design principles and practices.
• At least 2 years of experience in professional photo editing, preferably in a fast-paced creative environment.
• Excellent understanding of color management, lighting, and composition to make informed editing decisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex ideas simply.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
• Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite applications, such as Illustrator and InDesign, is a plus.
• Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies as they emerge.
• A strong portfolio that showcases your photo editing skills and style.
• Certification in photo editing or a related field is an asset but not required.
