About the role

NexGen Media is modernizing its data pipeline for operations teams. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to embed security controls, monitor threats, and ensure compliance throughout the analytics enablement effort.

Key responsibilities

• Assess data flow architectures and identify security gaps
• Implement encryption, tokenization, and access controls for pipelines
• Develop real‑time monitoring dashboards for anomalous activity
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate security testing into CI/CD
• Document incident response procedures specific to analytics workloads

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of network and cloud security principles
• Hands‑on experience securing data pipelines and ETL processes
• Proficiency with security tooling (SIEM, DLP, IAM)
• Ability to write Python scripts for automation and detection
• Linux system hardening and log analysis expertise

Nice to have

• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, SOC2)
• Familiarity with machine‑learning model security
