About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching an integration project that links billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to embed security controls throughout the data flows and ensure compliance across all touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and harden API authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Design threat models for data exchange between billing, CRM, and internal services.
• Implement security monitoring and incident response scripts in Python.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans on Linux‑based integration servers.
• Collaborate with developers to embed security best practices into CI pipelines.

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience securing RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Linux hardening and log analysis.
• Understanding of PCI‑DSS or similar compliance frameworks.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud IAM services.
• Experience with SIEM tools and automated alerting.
