About the role

Cascade Apps is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to lead risk assessments, define remediation plans, and validate hardened configurations across multiple cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability scans and threat modeling for SaaS services
• Develop and enforce hardening benchmarks for IaaS and PaaS layers
• Collaborate with developers to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines
• Document findings, produce remediation tickets, and verify fixes
• Provide concise security status reports to stakeholders

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with cloud security frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST)
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation
• Strong Linux administration and hardening knowledge
• Understanding of network segmentation and IAM policies

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CISSP or AWS Security Specialty
• Familiarity with container security tools
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) platforms
