About the role

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to support a critical data migration project. You will ensure database performance, security, and reliability across multiple platforms while collaborating with developers and analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL databases
• Optimize queries, indexes, and storage for high‑performance workloads
• Monitor health, backup, and recovery processes
• Develop automation scripts for routine tasks
• Troubleshoot and resolve database incidents quickly

Must-have skills

• 3+ years managing PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL in production
• Strong SQL and NoSQL query optimization expertise
• Experience with backup, replication, and disaster recovery
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure Cosmos DB)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) for database deployment
