Key Responsibilities

  • Enter data accurately and efficiently into various Excel spreadsheets, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Manage and maintain complex spreadsheets, including data cleaning, filtering, and sorting.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to identify and implement process improvements, increasing data entry efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of company databases and systems, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, adhering to data entry standards and protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest data entry techniques and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of data entry procedures and guidelines, sharing knowledge and expertise with the team.
  • Analyze and resolve data discrepancies, working closely with the operations team to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of data entry activities, providing regular progress updates to the operations team.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring seamless data entry operations.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including the operations team, management, and other departments.
  • Stay organized and manage multiple tasks and priorities, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Perform other data entry-related tasks as required, contributing to the success of the operations team and the company as a whole.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in data entry, preferably in a business or administrative environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data cleaning, filtering, and sorting, as well as experience with formulas and macros.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and efficiency in data entry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with data entry software and systems, including databases and spreadsheets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with a degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
  • Certification in data entry or a related field, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES), is an asset.
