About the role

Cascade Apps is launching a security hardening initiative for its suite of cloud‑hosted applications. We need a Frontend React Developer to reinforce client‑side defenses, implement secure coding patterns, and ensure the UI remains performant under tightened security constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and refactor existing React components to mitigate XSS and CSRF risks
• Integrate security‑focused libraries and Content Security Policy headers
• Implement role‑based UI rendering and token validation flows
• Collaborate with backend engineers to align API contracts with security standards
• Write unit and integration tests covering security edge cases

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building production‑grade React applications
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Familiarity with OWASP guidelines and secure frontend practices
• Proficiency with state management (Redux, Context API) and modern build tools
• Ability to work independently in a remote, deadline‑driven environment

Nice to have

• Experience with automated security testing tools (e.g., Snyk, npm audit)
• Background in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployments
