About the role

Harbor Softworks is enhancing its test automation suite to lower regression risk before product launches. We need a Frontend React Developer who can craft robust UI components and integrate them with our automated testing framework. This short‑term contract focuses on building reusable test hooks and improving UI reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive React components for test dashboards.
• Integrate Cypress or Playwright tests directly into UI layers.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to define testable UI patterns.
• Refactor legacy code to TypeScript for better type safety.
• Document component usage and testing guidelines.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands‑on knowledge of test automation tools (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and unit tests.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated test runs.
• Experience with Storybook or component libraries.
• Background in performance testing of frontend applications.
