About the role

NexGen Media is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. We need an iOS App Developer to refactor core modules, introduce SwiftUI, and ensure zero‑downtime releases while collaborating with a small, agile team.

Key responsibilities

• Rewrite critical UI flows in SwiftUI without interrupting live users
• Integrate existing REST APIs using modern networking patterns
• Implement feature flags and blue‑green deployments for seamless updates
• Write unit and UI tests to maintain high reliability
• Document migration steps and share knowledge with QA and DevOps

Must-have skills

• 2+ years of native iOS development with Swift
• Deep understanding of REST API consumption and error handling
• Experience with zero‑downtime deployment strategies
• Proficiency in Git and CI pipelines for mobile apps

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SwiftUI animation and Combine
• Background in legacy code migration projects
• Knowledge of App Store release automation
