About the role

Vertex Analytics is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need an iOS App Developer to lead the redesign of core modules, improve app responsiveness, and ensure stable integrations with backend APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing codebase and pinpoint performance bottlenecks.
• Refactor networking layers to use efficient REST API patterns.
• Implement asynchronous UI updates and memory‑optimised data handling.
• Write unit and UI tests to guarantee reliability across iOS versions.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to align on latency targets.

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS SDK.
• Deep experience with REST API consumption and error handling.
• Track record of improving app performance and stability.
• Familiarity with Xcode, Instruments, and test frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with Combine or SwiftUI.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for iOS.
• Background in analytics or telemetry integration.
