About the role

Summit Digital is building a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a PHP Developer to design, implement, and optimize back‑end services that ingest, transform, and expose operational data.

Key responsibilities

• Develop robust PHP micro‑services that connect to MySQL data stores.
• Implement ETL processes to cleanse and aggregate raw logs for analytics.
• Create RESTful endpoints for internal dashboards and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure schema consistency and performance.
• Write unit and integration tests, and maintain CI pipelines.

Must-have skills

• Strong PHP experience (3+ years) with Laravel framework.
• Proficiency in MySQL schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Understanding of data pipelines, ETL concepts, and API design.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or container orchestration.
• Experience with data visualization tools or BI platforms.
