About the role

Silverline Labs is launching a critical product and needs a PHP Developer to lead a test automation uplift. The goal is to embed automated regression checks early, lowering launch risk and speeding feedback cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a PHP‑based test framework using Laravel and PHPUnit.
• Integrate automated tests into CI pipelines for nightly builds.
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to identify high‑risk areas and prioritize test coverage.
• Document test cases, results, and maintenance procedures.
• Provide training sessions for developers on writing reliable automated tests.

Must-have skills

• Strong PHP development experience (3+ years).
• Proficiency with Laravel, MySQL, and PHPUnit.
• Hands‑on experience integrating tests into CI/CD workflows.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or containerized test environments.
• Knowledge of Selenium or Cypress for UI testing.
• Experience with code quality tools such as PHPStan or Psalm.
