PHP Developer – Service Reliability Overhaul

About the role

TechFlow Inc is enhancing its release pipeline by adding robust test automation. We need a PHP Developer to design and integrate automated tests that lower regression risk before each launch. You will work closely with QA and product teams to embed testing directly into the development workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Build and extend PHP‑based test suites using Laravel and PHPUnit
• Integrate automated tests into CI pipelines for early defect detection
• Collaborate with developers to identify high‑risk areas and create targeted test cases
• Document test scenarios and maintain clear reporting dashboards
• Provide guidance on best practices for test‑driven development

Must-have skills

• Strong PHP experience with Laravel framework
• Proficiency in MySQL and writing efficient queries
• Hands‑on knowledge of PHPUnit or similar testing tools
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and automation pipelines

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or containerized test environments
• Familiarity with behavior‑driven development (BDD)
• Previous work on large‑scale regression test suites
