About the role

DataPro Services is expanding its test automation framework to lower regression risk before product launches. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator who can design, tune, and automate database tasks that support continuous testing pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Implement automated backup and restore procedures for test environments
• Optimize PostgreSQL configurations for high‑throughput CI runs
• Develop scripts to seed and refresh test data sets quickly
• Collaborate with QA engineers to integrate DB health checks into test suites
• Monitor performance metrics and resolve bottlenecks during test cycles

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production and test settings
• Strong SQL scripting and query optimization abilities
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MongoDB or MySQL for cross‑database testing
• Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of test automation frameworks like Selenium or Cypress
