About the role

ProTask Solutions is expanding its SaaS offering and needs a focused REST API Developer to design and implement robust endpoints for new integrations. You will work closely with product owners to translate requirements into clean, scalable services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document RESTful APIs using NodeJS
• Integrate with PostgreSQL databases and ensure data integrity
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain high code quality
• Collaborate with front‑end teams to define API contracts
• Optimize performance and monitor API health in production

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands‑on knowledge of PostgreSQL schema design and queries
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or containerization
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of API documentation tools like Swagger
