About the role

Cascade Apps is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted Android applications. We need an experienced Android Developer to audit, reinforce, and implement robust security controls across the codebase.

Key responsibilities

• Perform threat modeling and vulnerability assessments on existing apps
• Integrate encryption, secure storage, and network hardening techniques
• Refactor legacy modules to follow modern security best practices
• Write automated security tests and CI checks
• Collaborate with backend and DevOps teams to ensure end‑to‑end protection

Must-have skills

• 5+ years Android development experience
• Deep knowledge of Android security APIs and OWASP Mobile Top 10
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java
• Experience with ProGuard/R8, code signing, and secure networking

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP) security features
• Experience in pen‑testing mobile apps
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds
