About the role

DataPro Services is launching a security hardening initiative for its suite of cloud‑hosted applications. We need an Android Developer to embed robust security controls directly into the mobile client, ensuring data protection and compliance across all user interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate encryption, secure storage, and certificate pinning into existing Android codebase
• Conduct threat modeling and code reviews focused on mobile attack vectors
• Collaborate with cloud engineers to align mobile security with backend policies
• Write automated tests that validate security safeguards under varied network conditions
• Document security implementations and provide knowledge transfer to the internal team

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Android development experience
• Deep knowledge of Kotlin and Java for Android
• Proven experience implementing encryption, secure APIs, and authentication flows
• Familiarity with Android security best practices and Play Store compliance

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud security services (e.g., AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault)
• Background in penetration testing or security audits for mobile apps
