About the role
LumenWorks is preparing a major app store launch and needs a sharp Cybersecurity Analyst to align mobile and backend security controls. You will work closely with the mobile team and backend engineers to embed threat modeling, secure API design, and data protection throughout the release pipeline.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct threat modeling for mobile SDKs and backend services
- Review and harden API authentication and encryption mechanisms
- Coordinate security testing with QA and DevOps
- Provide actionable remediation guidance to developers
- Document security decisions for compliance and audit trails
Must-have skills
- Strong understanding of mobile security best practices
- Experience securing backend APIs and cloud services
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
- Solid Linux administration and hardening knowledge
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CI/CD security integrations
- Knowledge of OWASP Mobile Top 10
