About the role

Vertex Analytics is launching a focused sprint to accelerate releases through CI/CD and platform automation. We need a DevOps Engineer who can design, implement, and fine‑tune pipelines that enable rapid, reliable deployments across our cloud stack.

Key responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end CI/CD workflows on AWS using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate them via Kubernetes
• Automate testing, security scans, and roll‑backs within pipelines
• Collaborate with developers to embed infrastructure as code practices
• Monitor pipeline health and optimize for speed and cost

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines in AWS environments
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools
• Solid scripting/automation skills (Shell, Python, or similar)
• Understanding of Git workflows and release management

Nice to have

• Experience with Helm charts and service mesh technologies
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
• Familiarity with security scanning tools (e.g., Snyk, Trivy)
