About the role

Ridgeline Software is enhancing its test automation framework to lower regression risk before major releases. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design, implement, and integrate robust GraphQL services that power automated test suites and reporting dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop a GraphQL layer that abstracts existing REST endpoints for test data retrieval
• Collaborate with QA engineers to embed GraphQL queries into automated test scripts
• Optimize query performance and implement caching strategies to speed up large test runs
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests for all new GraphQL resolvers
• Document API schemas and usage guidelines for cross‑functional teams

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building production‑grade GraphQL APIs
• Strong knowledge of NodeJS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Familiarity with React for building test‑dashboard components
• Understanding of REST API concepts and ability to bridge GraphQL with existing services

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation tools such as Cypress or Playwright
• Background in CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing
