About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design, implement, and optimize the core GraphQL services that will power real‑time dashboards and reporting tools.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop a scalable GraphQL layer over existing data sources
• Integrate React‑based front‑ends with GraphQL queries and mutations
• Build NodeJS micro‑services to support data ingestion and transformation
• Implement authentication, authorization, and caching strategies
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality and latency targets

Must-have skills

• Deep experience building production GraphQL APIs
• Strong proficiency in React and NodeJS ecosystems
• Solid understanding of REST API integration and data modeling
• Experience with performance tuning and monitoring of API services

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data warehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
