About the role

Ridgeline Software is preparing a new app store launch and needs a GraphQL API Developer to bridge mobile front‑ends with backend services. You will shape the data layer that powers real‑time features and ensures smooth version rollouts.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement GraphQL schemas that align with mobile UI requirements
• Integrate existing REST endpoints into the GraphQL layer using NodeJS
• Collaborate with React developers to define query patterns and performance targets
• Write automated tests and documentation for API contracts
• Optimize resolvers for latency and scalability ahead of the store release

Must-have skills

• Deep experience building production GraphQL APIs
• Proficiency with NodeJS and REST API integration
• Strong understanding of React data fetching strategies
• Ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in mobile contexts

Nice to have

• Familiarity with mobile CI pipelines
• Experience with Apollo Server or similar tooling
• Knowledge of authentication flows for app stores
