Senior GraphQL API Developer – Service Reliability

About the role

LumenWorks is extending its B2B platform with a new multi‑tenant capability. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design, implement, and test the tenant‑aware schema and resolver layer that will power upcoming product features.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a scalable multi‑tenant GraphQL schema aligned with existing services
• Develop resolvers in NodeJS that integrate with our current REST APIs
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to expose efficient queries for React clients
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure data isolation between tenants
• Document API contracts and onboarding steps for internal teams

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building GraphQL APIs in production
• Proficiency with NodeJS and REST API integration
• Understanding of multi‑tenant design patterns and security
• Ability to write clean, testable code and maintain documentation

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Apollo Server or similar GraphQL tooling
• Experience optimizing performance for high‑traffic B2B services
