Senior Java Developer – Backend Scalability Workstream

About the role

CloudWave Digital is accelerating its release cadence through a focused CI/CD and platform automation sprint. We need a Java Developer to design, implement, and refine automated pipelines that enable faster, reliable deployments across our cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Develop reusable automation scripts and Terraform modules for infrastructure provisioning
• Integrate automated testing, code quality gates, and security scans into the release flow
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to troubleshoot pipeline failures and improve reliability
• Document best practices and create runbooks for hand‑off to operations

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Java development experience
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Python) for automation

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, ELK)
• Background in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
