About the role

Harbor Softworks is launching a greenfield SaaS product with a remote‑first mindset. We need a Java Developer – Greenfield SaaS Platform to shape core services from the ground up and ensure a scalable, maintainable codebase.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement microservice APIs using Spring Boot
• Collaborate with product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee reliability
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior contributors
• Optimize performance and monitor services in a cloud environment

Must-have skills

• Strong Java expertise (5+ years)
• Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot and RESTful microservices
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization
• Ability to work autonomously in a distributed team

Nice to have

• Kubernetes or Docker experience
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP services
• Exposure to event‑driven architectures
