About the role

Keystone Digital is launching a security hardening initiative for its suite of cloud‑hosted applications. We need a seasoned Java Developer to design, implement, and validate security controls across microservice architectures. The role focuses on threat modeling, secure coding, and automated compliance checks.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing Java services for security gaps and remediate vulnerabilities
• Integrate authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms using Spring Boot
• Develop reusable security libraries for microservice communication
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed security scans into CI/CD pipelines
• Document findings and provide guidance for future secure development

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Java development in cloud environments
• Deep experience with Spring Boot and microservice patterns
• Proven track record in application security hardening
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and security testing tools

Nice to have

• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of cloud provider IAM services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
