About the role

Pinnacle Works is designing a scalable, event‑driven platform for a high‑traffic e‑commerce client. We need a Microservices Architect to define service boundaries, data contracts, and deployment pipelines, ensuring resilience and performance across the ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document microservice architecture aligned with business goals
• Create API specifications and enforce versioning strategy
• Set up container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Guide the team on best practices for CI/CD and monitoring
• Conduct performance testing and optimize resource usage

Must-have skills

• Deep experience designing and delivering microservice solutions
• Proficiency with Docker containerization
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration
• Solid Java development background

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with event streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Understanding of security patterns for distributed systems
