About the role

We are modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay live 24/7. As a Microservices Architect you will design a zero‑downtime migration path, define service boundaries, and lead the implementation of containerized services.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a microservices ecosystem to replace monolithic components
• Create deployment pipelines that guarantee zero‑downtime releases
• Define API contracts, data flow, and resilience patterns
• Guide the team on Docker and Kubernetes best practices
• Collaborate with QA and Ops to embed observability and automated rollback

Must-have skills

• Deep experience designing and deploying microservices at scale
• Proficiency with Docker containerization
• Hands‑on expertise in Kubernetes orchestration
• Strong Java development background

Nice to have

• Experience with legacy system refactoring
• Knowledge of Istio or service mesh technologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
